On Tuesday we took the train to the Museo del Prado where we saw great works of art including some from Goya. We arrived at the Atocha station (in the background of the third photo) . It was the station where, in March of 2004, over 190 people were killed in the Madrid bombings. It is a very busy and beautiful station.
Wednesday-we went to Retiro Park and enjoyed rowing around the lake in boats. There are a lot of students out on spring break and they were enjoying the lake as well. After the lake, we walked about 15 minutes and met Brett at the Chocolateria San Gines where we had churros and chocolate, again! It was so yummy.
Tomorrow we are all (nine of us) going to ride the train and metro to the airport and hop a plane for Barcelona for a few days. We are excited. I am looking forward to seeing the Picasso Museum.

All of the places you've gone to are so beautiful! Your pictures look like you should be in a movie or something (especially in the boat). Have fun and take lots of pictures! Love ya!!!
