Churros con Chocolate

We have been craving the special treat found at the Chocolateria San Gines in Madrid. I found a recipe online (Churros con Chocolate) . We tried it last night for Family Home Evening along with some drinkable thick chocolate purchased from the grocery store in Madrid. The churros were really great. The boys (Travis, Kasey and Logan) couldn't stop eating them. They kept saying-"This is my last one" but they kept coming back for more. I doubled the recipe-thank goodness. We Were Inspired

Jennilee's former roommate at BYU-Kelsey Nixon-has her own show on the new Cooking Channel. We watched the first episode which aired last Saturday. She made pasta and she made it look so easy that Jennilee and I decided to try it for dinner tonight. It turned out great. She has a great show and I would really recommend it. The first show will be repeated Friday afternoon at 2 pm Pacific time so if you missed it-you can see it again. Velzy's Day

Little baby Velzy Bell is not even 2 weeks old but she made her debut in Church today as family and friends attended Grossmont Ward for her blessing. She is such a little doll and is so good. We are so blessed to have her and her family in our family. It will be fun watching her grown up.
