If you grew up in the Ross Family, you know that the kids always got a Big Hunk to eat during conference and that we always spread a blanket on the floor and dumped out all the Legos so the kids would be reverent during General Conference. It might not have been the best thing to do, but it was a "Ross Tradition". It's been a few years since the Legos and white nougat candy but every time we sit in our family room to watch conference, I think about the "GOOD OLD TIMES"!
This morning I woke up so excited to hear the messages of the prophets...I love General Conference. I choked up during the opening prayer :)

I remember that!!!
I remember the Big Hunks, but not the legos. I guess that shows what I was interested in. I wish you would've reminded me of this before today. Our kids were absolutely awful! Ya, I cried too, just for different reasons. I guess I'll have some reading to do.
Oh that was always the best part of conference for me at that time! But it is weird how the excitement for conference changes as you actually learn to understand what the prophets are saying! But I still don't like big hunks to this day..they just aint my thang!
I can't find Big Hunks here (except for Zane), so I might have to bring some back and be prepared to watch it again in the Fall!
We made space ships with blankets and chairs too. Jellie, maybe you are more of an Abba Zabba type of girl.
