I never thought it would come to this

Yes, we are getting a security system for our home. We have lived in our house for almost 30 years and have never had a problem. But, our neighbor across the street was robbed last week in broad daylight. She got the robber on her security camera so we know what he looks like. He took so many irreplaceable items-family heirlooms as well as passports and her make-up. Can you believe that?Then a few days later, two other neighbors were robbed as well-same time of day. The world is certainly changing and we are trying to protect our home.
