When You Wish Upon a Star!

We just returned from the "happiest place on earth"-Disney World in Orlando. We hung out for a week with the Underwood's and had a grueling (I say that because it was physically taxing) BLAST. We spent 5 days and one evening visiting the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. We rode rides (I loved Soarin' in Epcot), went to great shows, ate churros and other treats, and I even starred in a Monster's Inc. Show-that was a little embarrassing! The crowds were smaller, the weather was pretty nice, and we had a great experience-it might be fun to do it again in a few years. There's still so much to see that we didn't even get to. It was wonderful to be with our children and grandchildren-that's really what it's all about. I do have to take issue with the slogan within the parks that says it is a place "where all your dreams come true." My dreams are still hanging out there, but that's okay.
