Obviously, I have not been keeping up with the blog so today I thought I would post a few pics from my trip (last week) to Kentucky. Thankfully I am not there this week as they have had ice storms and power is out to over 400,000 customers in the Louisville area-Traci and Zane included. It might be two weeks before power is restored.WHEW!
Zane waited in line for 4 hours last night at Home Depot to get a generator (they had a small one but it wasn't adequate). They are taking creative measures to conserve the heat in their home and keep the kids busy-no school for awhile. Anyway, last week Zane was out of town for a convention and it was just Traci, me and the kids. One of the kids left the light on all night in the van and so the battery was dead. We couldn't even get around to getting that fixed so we drove the 4-Runner all week! Imagine what we would have done with the ice storm. Lucky for Traci, I got out of town and her capable hubby came back!

I still love that picture of Gage. He is sitting here with me looking at it and he loves it too. Glad you were safe and warm last week in San Diego. And, you checkerboard looks awesome. Yeah, that has to be kept for years to come because of all the hard work that went in to it and because it looks like it turned out great.
