Saturday we had a baby shower for Jennilee and baby Cache. It was so much fun to visit with old friends and celebrate the coming of a new baby! We played a game where a clue was given and it matched up to a candy bar or box of candy. For example: Anesthesiologist=Mr. Goodbar ; baby boy twins=Mike and Ike (candies). Well, anyway, you get the picture. Mauri and Corinne knew a lot of the answers-they are so quick thinking!
The menu consisted of mini blueberry oatmeal muffins, mini quiches, fruit and these great Lemon Yogurt Berry Granola Parfaits (I got the recipe from Tyler's Ultimate on the Food Network.) The Blueberry Oatmeal Muffin recipe is Traci's and can be found on the Six Hungry Mouths blog. The centerpiece was a diaper cake-inspiration coming from Amy. She made one for a baby shower a couple of years ago and I happened to be there and got to help her put it together. We also made a banner for baby Cache which Jennilee will be able to put up in his room (after it is painted a more subtle color!)
We had a really nice time and I appreciate all the help from Tanya, Caitlin, Jennilee, and Danielle.

The diaper cakes looks so cute. I am going to have another baby just so you can throw me a shower like Jellie's. Really! Congrats Jellie and I am glad you could all get together and celebrate.
